Cardoons
We create all of the designs in Jersey, Channel Islands and print the cards in the UK using paper manufactured from trees grown in sustainable forests. Orders are sent to our customers by Jersey Post. All cards are delivered to your address with a blank envelope and one, or two (depending on the design) 5" balloon/s. When folded all of our cards are 216mm high x 152mm wide bringing them within the standard UK letter postage size. As Cardoons is based in Jersey all shipments made to the UK under the value of £18 are exempt from VAT. However if your order is more than £18, Cardoons will cover the VAT. We also cover the cost of GST for Jersey residents, so feel free to order as many as you like and we will pay the taxes for you!

Our cards
All of our cards come with a high quality natural latex 5" balloon, with some designs having two balloons. The balloons are not inflated when posted to you, this is left for the end recipient to do adding to the fun and uniqueness of a Cardoons greeting card. Simple instructions are provided on the reverse of all cards to make sure the balloon is inflated to the recommended size. Once the balloon is inflated and a knot is tied it is attached to the card by pulling the knot through the hole provided in the card. The end result is a greeting card with your personal message that stands out from the rest.

In our own tests we have found that the balloon can remain inflated under normal conditions for over a month!
